This year, Jay's birthday and Father's Day fell on the same weekend. I surprised Jay for his birthday/Father's Day and brought him to Palm Springs for a little weekend get-away...My parents were gracious enough to watch Peyton and we had our first night away from our little guy. We were a little anxious at first, having never left him overnight with anyone before, but everything turned out fine! We had a much needed fun, relaxing time together!

On Father's Day we got to spend some of our Father's Day with family which was nice!
Peyton got his dad some golf balls for Father's Day this year because he knows that his dad loves golf.
Happy First Father's Day, Jay! Peyton sure is blessed to have a dad like you...and I know he loves you very much! Thanks for being such a great dad and husband...I love you!
