Spring has Sprung.....

.....and what better way is there to celebrate Springtime than having a "Bird-themed" baby shower?!   This past weekend, a group of us threw a baby shower for my sister Kelly who is expecting a baby BOY to arrive at the beginning of May! Kelly is already a mother to two beautiful little girls and is blessed to have a boy this time around! I am SO excited that Peyton will have a little boy cousin soon!

I can only imagine all of the mischief those two will get in together...I can't wait! 

(Well, on second thought, maybe I can.) ;)

I am so happy with the way the baby shower turned out, so I just had to share pictures from the event! My brother-in-law's sister Corie is an event planner so she was in charge of the decorations and she did such an amazing job! She owns her own company called "Status Designs."  Here is her website:

For the desert table, we had candy eggs, cupcakes that had "bird nests" on top of them made out of coconut with little candy eggs inside and cake pops.

Look at the sign Corie made for the dessert table:  "Sweet Tweets."  Isn't that adorable?!?!

Kelly's chair had a cute little sign on it as well:

Of course the centerpieces were amazing.  The centerpieces were actually bird cages that had the most beautiful flowers, sticks and little baby birds in them. This shower was one of the cutest baby shower's I've been to.



I LOVED the gift table.



There was even a cloths hanger that had cloths pins made up that looked like little birds flying along carrying onsies. 

That day was so much fun.  I am so appreciative of all of the people that helped me make Kelly's shower such a success.  We played games, talked, laughed, open presents and celebrated little baby Isaac.  I really can't wait for him to get here.  It's only a matter of weeks now....You can be sure that I'll be posting lots of cute baby pics of him soon after he makes his debut!
